Of all the actors who came of age in the '80s, few seemed as destined for superstardom as Rebecca De Mornay. Her wit, humanity, and charisma seemed to put her a cut above her contemporaries, but where did her career end up taking her? While she never reached superstar status, you've probably seen more of her than you realize.

"The hand that rocks the cradle" was my fav with her. She was so cunning and scary. As an asthmatic myself, when she emptied all the inhalers, i couldn't breath.
The only movie I've seen her in is The Hand That Rocks the Cradle," in which she played a compellingly creepy role that was somewhat softened by her decicive treatment of a schoolyard bully. (That was my favourite part of the movie.)
She and Michael Rooker were wonderful together in Table for One. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. Bummed she and Patrick O'Neal did not last. They made a great Hollywood couple.

If you haven't seen Identity, you def should - James Mangold directed it. Fantastic thriller (and starring Rebecca De Mornay!)
